This beautiful piece of ambrosia maple was hand selected and saved from an amazing log. Nature is truly the Master Artist as so many conditions came to be, just at the right time to capture so much character, even to its smallest individual piece. As the amazing character refracts light like a cats eye (chatoyance), just catch the light and the grain will reveal it’s true beauty. The english walnut complements the color and grain of the maple without competing. This stock came from my personal special stock of lumber saved for 10 years awaiting a great project such as this.
